Building Blocks, Quietly Becoming began with a simple thought: our lives are built one piece at a time.

We are constantly adding, moving, changing and sometimes losing the things that shape us. Some become part of our foundations; others stay only briefly.

Occasionally something arrives unexpectedly and changes everything around it.

This collection gives that idea a physical form.

Each ceramic piece is made individually and mounted onto wood, bringing organic, imperfect forms together with the simplicity and strength of the block beneath.

No two are alike. Their textures, tones, cracks and irregularities reflect the way our own lives develop — slowly, naturally and never in perfect lines.

Building Blocks can begin with a single piece or grow into a larger composition. 

More can be added over time, allowing the work to change alongside the person who owns it.

A new beginning. A person you love. A place that holds a memory. Something gained, something lost, or simply a moment worth holding onto.

There is no prescribed arrangement. Each becomes its own story.

For me, Quietly Becoming is about the fact that we are never really finished. We continue to shift, grow and reshape ourselves through all the small experiences that make us who we are.
