Work
I create sculptural ceramics that explore form, surface and subtle asymmetry.
Some pieces are designed to stand alone; others create a quiet relationship with the objects, light and space around them.
Made by Hand
Each piece is built by hand, slowly and intuitively, in my Warwickshire studio.
I'm drawn to texture, irregularity and the marks left by the making process, allowing the character of the clay — and something of how it was formed — to remain visible.
No two pieces are ever quite the same.
Commissions
Many pieces are created in response to a particular person, place or setting.
